After you have made the decision to collect and store the baby’s cord blood stem cells with Stem Cell Cryobank:

PATIENT:
Step 1: Contacts Stem Cell Cryobank for registration and information package.

Step 2: Registers and sends registration fee to Stem Cell Cryobank.

Step 3: Stem Cell Cryobank sends out the collection kit to client.

Step 4: Client takes collection kit to birthing center and hands it to physician for collection after the baby’s birth.

PHYSICIAN:
Step 5: Collects umbilical cord blood and maternal blood samples and places them in the collection kit.

PLEASE COLLECT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

THE MORE CORD BLOOD COLLECTED, THE MORE STEM CELLS ARE OBTAINED.

Step 6: Physician completes accompanying collection paperwork.
